H2 History represents a huge jump in rigour as opposed to Secondary School History. In H2 History essays, it is imperative that students possess the utmost accuracy in the conveyance of their ideas and arguments. Coupled with the experiences that the teacher has in teaching GP Tuition and English Tuition, he utilises an interdisciplinary approach by tapping on the instruction of language to instruct students on historical writing to achieve said accuracy. In H2 History Source-Based Questions, (SBQ) students are not only expected to infer and assess the reliability of sources, but they are also expected to cross-reference sources with consistent or dissimilar messages to construct a coherent historical narrative. Our H2 History tuition lessons teach students to draw on historical, contextual knowledge and language skills in order to synthesise the disparate pieces of information and produce an argument. In so doing, they will achieve higher levels of responses in their SBQ and essays.
